Gavea Race Track at Rio de Janeiro is one of most beautiful and pleasant places in Brazil. Between the mountains and the sea, just beside Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, under the statue of Cristo Redentor - elected one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. There are 15,000 seats, restaurants, as well as theaters, bars, and other places of leisure, that together make it a place of fun and entertainment.

The building is a replica of the old Longchamps at the Bois de Boulogne, Paris and it was built in 1926. Its architecture is unique, with the stands protect by huge but balanced structures. You can have a great view of two race tracks, one of turf and one of dirt. Gavea Race Track has stables for 1,800 Thoroughbreds and has all the facilities needed including a veterinary hospital and surgical center as well.
